At J.A. Turner & Sons (2012) Ltd. Our specialty is making quality lumber. We take pride in sawing items which are often difficult to find such as “full sawn” dimensional lumber and timbers. We typically carry around 750 000 FBM of lumber in inventory so that we can quickly respond to customers’ needs.

Log Species Purchased:

We primarily buy spruce, eastern white pine, eastern hemlock and tamarack logs. However, occasionally we are looking for other species as well. Prices and demand can vary so we ask that you contact us for specifications and pricing.

We also purchase woodland and standing timber and can also arrange for your land to be managed and selectively harvested. Please call us for details.

Lumber Produced

We typically carry in stock sizes from 1x3 to 2x12 in lengths from 7’ to 16’. We carry both rough and planed lumber and can custom saw and plane to non-standard sizes if required.
